Santa Clara at Gonzaga

It has been a good season for Gonzaga at 18-4, but this team has a much smaller margin for error than any Gonzaga team we have seen in quite some time. The blowouts are not happening with regularity as we have seen in the past. They lost at home to Loyola, Marymount as a 16-point favorite. They recently played on the road at an awful Pacific team as an 18-point favorite, and it was close late before the Zags walked with a sloppy 9-point win. Santa Clara almost pulled an upset at home against the Bulldogs before losing by five, and Pepperdine lost by just two. The Zags have only covered two of their last seven games, and the lines are based more on reputation than reality, which I'm happy to take advantage of. Make the play on Santa Clara.
