Santa Barbara at Long Beach State

Despite returning just one starter, UC Santa Barbara has a program that can keep trucking on, and that they have this season. The Gauchos are an impressive 14-4 on the season and are now 6-1 in their last seven games. Long Beach State expected a bit more than an 8-12 record at this point as the 49ers brought back four starters but it has been a struggle, and they enter off two straight losses. Santa Barbara tends to struggle when they don't shoot well but Long Beach has allowed each of its last two opponents to shoot better than 50% so enough clean looks here to pick up a hard-fought road win.
