San Francisco at BYU

The BYU Cougars are not playing very well, and in fact have become an overrated team. The record includes a pair of wins vs. non Div-1 schools, and this line is being fueled by reputation, and a 30-point win at San Francisco earlier this season, both of which will serve to work against them in this one. The Dons let the Cougars get out and run to a season high 99 points (vs. Div-1 opponents), and won't make the same mistake tonight. The Cougars started the season with nine straight games going for 80 points or more, and teams have begun to utilize the blueprint of slowing them down to be in a better competitive position. That has led to 8 of 13 games at 80 or less, and they have suffered in the point spread results as well where they are just 3-8 ATS in their last 11, and 0-4 ATS in their last four when giving 10 points or more. No team in the Dons' last three games have topped the 71-point mark, and I think they will slow things down here to have a fair shot at staying in the game, unlike the previous meeting. San Francisco has really bounced back off a spread loss at 30-13 ATS in their last 43, and have been under the radar in conference play where they are 43-19 ATS in their last 62. The Cougars are leaking oil at home where they are an ugly 2-12 ATS in their last 14, and 5-2 to the UNDER here in their last seven following three straight on the road. Take San Francisco and the UNDER.
