San Diego State at New Mexico

They easily dispatched Utah State while shooting 51.9 percent from the field and going on a 19-point run in the first half. Troy Simons led the Lobos with 17 points and Joe Furtsinger and Sam Logwood added 16 apiece and the Aggies were held to a .421 field goal percentage. New Mexico is much improved under new coach Paul Weir and playing its best basketball of the season. San Diego State also is on a winning streak and shot 51.2 percent in a rout over Nevada on Friday night. The Aztecs figure to cool off as they shoot only 45.7 percent on the season while scoring 76.9 points per game. The Lobos are a small underdog, so play New Mexico on the moneyline.
