San Diego State at Murray State

This was supposed to be another big year for Murray St. but some unexpected changes, and all of a sudden, lots of question marks. Coach Mick Cronin was plucked away by Cinncinati, their most versatile athlete, Trey Pearson. was kicked off the team. And an expected major contributor, Justin Orr transferred out. They now have to replace a coach and 4 starters, which won't be easy. San Diego St. doesn't appear in many, if any, top 25's, but they will emerge and be recognized before too long. This team is loaded, and when Brandon Heath withdrew his name from the NBA, this year had a chance to be special. The only major loss (NBA but not drafted) is Marcus Slaughter, but in comes juco All-American 6-10 Jerome Habel. He will join potent Mohamed Abukar, also 6-10 to give them strength up front. Enter Louisville transfer Lorenzo Wade, and some serious depth, and this is a deep solid quick team. They should have no problem dealing with Murray St.
