Samford at Michigan State

Michigan St. is 3-1 and the only loss came to Kansas 77-69 on a neutral court. The Spartans should be in the upper half of the Big-10 standings this season. Coach Izzo has always been a defense-first coach and he already has his Spartans playing well on the defensive end of the court. Michigan St. is allowing opponents to shoot just 37.6% through four games. Samford is off a dream season that ended at 29-6. They gave Kansas a scare in the NCAA Tournament as the Bulldogs lost by just four. Samford is off to a 4-1 start to their season, but have not beaten any notable teams, and did lose to Cornell. Samford is shooting under 40% but likes to push the ball, and I don't think that will be their agenda here vs. a Spartan team that can defend anyone. Bet this one to stay UNDER the total.
