Sam Houston at UL Monroe

The basketball program at Sam Houston St. is strong and the Bearkats have started the season at 7-2. They have only lost to Nevada and Oklahoma St. This team also has a pair of big road wins at Oklahoma, and at Utah. LA Monroe is just 3-7 on the season, but that record is misleading as the Warhawks are 0-7 SU vs division-1 teams. They have dropped five of those games by 15 points or more and vs division-1 teams, they have a scoring margin of -18.3 PPG. Sam Houston is significantly better than those teams that beat UL Monroe. I like the Bearkats in this one.
