Purdue was just a few days into practice in October when Robbie Hummel went down. With the injury, many thought this team would not be as good as what might have been. It seemed to really get their focus, and the Boilermakers finished a remarkable 25-7 on the season. St. Peter's rode a hot streak in the Metro Atlantic Tournament and played themselves into a bid by beating season champ Fairfield as a 7-point underdog. It is no secret that they are going to play this one in the half-court which they have done all season. It is also no secret they have been overmatched by major conference teams as they have played three times against them and scored 52 points in their highest output in the three games. Purdue is a better defensive club than any of those three, and I would be surprised to see the Peacocks reach 50 here. This is a big mismatch, so I'm backing Purdue and the UNDER.
