Brown Coach Mike Martin led the Bears to a winning season in just his second year, and it was the school's first since 2007-08. The Bears have lost Sean McGonagill who was the team's leading scorer and best player last season. But they do have most of the other pieces back, and if they can get someone to step into the void left by his departure as a leader, they will find more success this season. Saint Peter's has their top two scorers back from a season ago, but I'm not sure how much difference that will make. This team has to play at a slow tempo because they were one of the worst shooting teams in the country last year at an ugly 40.7%. That tends to get worse on the road, and in the opener when jitters are felt. The team also struggled from deep, and unless they dramatically improve their shooting, another long year is in store. Lay the points on Brown.
