The Billikens beat Boston College last Saturday, but promptly lost to Nebraska by 14 three days later. The BC game was at home while Nebraska was their lone road game. Even at home, they lost to Kent State. I just don't think they have proven themselves yet, and certainly not on the road. To be laying points in this one is wrong. Sure, Detroit is far from a great team, but they'll have enough, especially at home. This line is off thanks to the "Rick Majerus" factor. But, remember that he was just 16-15 SU and 13-14 ATS last year coaching this team and he's 2-2 SU and 1-2 ATS so far this season. In his coaching career, his teams are 1-10 ATS on the road vs. bad teams (.400 or worse). I also like the fact that his counterpart, Ray McCallum, is 17-5 ATS in his coaching career at home in tight games (line of +3 to -3). The wrong team is favored here.
