The Southern Utah Thunderbirds have managed just three wins on the season vs. div-1 competition and have mounted success on the road this season just one time in seven tries. Their three wins on the season like competition are against teams with a combined 18-33 record, so their chances of breaking through here on the road are very slim. Montana State played some tough road games early in the season and that has left them at 6-9. However, now that they are playing more on their level, they have been much better and have rattled off four straight wins at home. Southern Utah simply doesn't fit the profile of a team to change that.
