Southern Mississippi at NC Charlotte

Coach Doc Sadler is making progress at Southern Miss after an 8-21 season in 2015-16 in which many of his young players got some valuable experience. The Golden Eagles have won two of their last three games and covering the number in all of them. Southern Miss did lose 54-50 at Old Dominion as a 13-point underdog on Thursday with Cortez Edwards scoring 13 points, but they held the Monarchs to only a .333 field goal percentage. Charlotte has lost four straight and seven of its last eight games, including 79-73 to Louisiana Tech as the Bulldogs shot an astonishing 61.2 percent from the field. Braxton Ogbueze led Charlotte with 26 points. Charlotte is 2-7 ATS its last nine games and shouldn't be laying this many points. Play Southern Miss.
