Rutgers at Richmond

The Spiders did their part to shake the slowdown tempo label by opening last season with six straight games going for 70+. They have scored 68 points per game to open this season, so they have certainly shed the consistent 50s from a few years ago. The Scarlet Knights had a poor shooting outing in a 76-70 loss to Illinois St. and despite the struggle they went for 70 points in the contest. Rutgers has had a high-scoring history vs. the Atlantic 10 teams that has seen them eclipse the total in seven of their last eight when facing them. They are also now 5-2 to the UNDER in their last seven at a neutral site. The perception of Richmond being a slow-down team follows them, but that has changed and I look for this one to play OVER the posted total.
