Rutgers at Monmouth

Rutgers has won three of four games with outstanding defense, allowing 56, 55, and 54 points in the victories. Freshman guard Mike Williams shot 9-of-15 to score a career-high 22 points to help Rutgers to a 79-54 home win over Sacred Heart on Tuesday night. The Scarlet Knights held the Pioneers to just 27 percent shooting (15-of-55). Rutgers is 4-1 ATS against the Metro Atlantic Athletic conference and faces a Monmouth team with a losing record. Monmouth suffered a 71-46 home loss to St. Francis-Brooklyn on Tuesday. The Hawks shot 37.3 percent (19-of-51) and were out-rebounded by a 42-24 margin.
