Rider at Penn State

Penn State is 2-8 UNDER this season, including its last four lined games and its due to some stellar defense holding opponents to only 65.3 points per game and a .414 shooting percentage. The Nittany Lions held George Mason and George Washington to 54 points each and the Patriots shot only 37.0 percent from the field and missed all 14 3-point attempts. Obviously, Penn State has an effective perimeter defense and it allows 34.8 percent from beyond the arc. Rider was picked to finish last in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, but the Broncs are overachieving with a 6-5 record while shooting only 43.8 percent and allowing 44.9 percent. Rider is 38-18 UNDER its last 56 road games and the Lions are 16-5 UNDER their last 21 home contests.  Take the UNDER.
