Rice at UTEP

The UTEP Miners were excited about the season back in November, and they have met the expectations posting a 20-9 record on the season. The win column has at least, but the quality of wins and margins have pointed in a different direction. The Miners have dropped two of their last three, and are just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games overall. They're also 3-6 ATS when laying -10 or more in their last nine, so it has not been a team that has grown as the season has progressed, leaving them them overvalued. Since a 2-7 stretch, Rice has recovered nicely at 5-3 in their last eight, and have covered six of their last eight, including 4-1 ATS as a dog of +4 or more.
