Rice at Oakland

Both Oakland and Rice come in at 17-15 for the season. Rice plays in a better conference, and these teams have both had their moments this season, but overall they are basically pedestrian teams. Rice has more than held their own on the road at 6-6 for the season, and won at UL Lafayette in their CIT opener. It marked their third straight road cover, and one of those was a near miss big upset at Southern Miss where they lost by just 2. Oakland won six straight games early in the season, but has been a below .500 team since. They have a team with a pretty good road resume that is their equal, so the points look to loom large here.
