Providence at Alabama

The Providence Friars had their hands full with a mediocre Mercer team, escaping with a two-point win. The Tide looks like an upset victim when they went down by four points to Cornell, however that won't be the last time that the Big Red is heard from - they are the new Ivy kingpins, and a better team right now. The Friars have the ability to hang in this one for a while, but down the stretch. At home I give the edge to Alabama. The Friars have not been impressive in the small dog role as they are just 7-21 ATS as a dog of 6.5 or less in their last 28, and 1-7 ATS in their last eight as a dog of any size. They will have a hard time finishing here, so I'll go with Alabama on the moneyline.
