Portland at Gonzaga

Gonzaga suffered a lot of losses from last year. They certainly have the talent to be good, but also the inexperience to have a much tighter margin for error, and it showed on the road vs. San Francisco, but this has been in the works for a couple of weeks. The youth of Gonzaga is fragile and four straight no-covers, and an inexcusable loss point to what is between their ears, and not what is on the court. This team is having confidence issues and Portland is talented enough to exploit that as the Pilots lost to the Bulldogs at home by just 3. The Pilots were winners at UCLA, Oregon and Minnesota and a close call vs. Gonzaga suggests that they can hang tight here. I'll go with Portland in this one.
