The BYU Cougars are off to an 11-3 start. There is something to note here. The Cougars have played this season at a below-average pace. It seems to be slowing as the season progresses. They have already seen seven of their last 10 games where they have attempted 60 shots or fewer and in the last three, an average of just 58. That has led them to play each of the three UNDER the total. They have also been slumping some offensively, shooting no better than 44% in any of their last three. Portland State has attempted an average of 54.5 shots in their last two, both failing to reach the total so they will be happy to make this a half-court game. Coach Porter seems to slow the pace with each passing loss, as his team has played 34-17 to the UNDER if they have lost at least three straight. Make the play on the UNDER.
