Pittsburgh at Villanova

Two contrasting styles here. I liked Pitt in the earlier meeting at Nova, and like them here once again. Pitt is a tremendous defensive basketball team, while Nova relies on the three to get it done, and sometimes dissappears on the defensive end. Pitt is tailored for tournament basketball, and has been a very good road team in the Big East this season. Pitt will want to control the pace of this game, which is crucial for them, and they were not able to in the earlier meeting between these two teams. Pittsburgh is 10-3 ATS on the road in slower paced games where they attempt 46 to 53 shots over the last 3 seasons. Pitt enters off road wins against BC and Notre Dame so they'll be a confident bunch toady in Madison Square Garden. Three stars on Pitt here.
