Pepperdine at CS Northridge

Cal State Northridge did not have much success during the Reggie Theus years and now is struggling with Mark Gottfried as coach. The Matadors improved some last season, but they continue to get blown out in early-season games, including their first two this season losing to Oregon State and New Mexico by an average of 23.5 points and not covering in either one despite big point spreads. Northridge now has lost six in a row dating to last season. Pepperdine rebounded from a loss at California and beat Cal Irvine 77-73 on Saturday. Kameron Edwards led the Waves with 21 points and 10 rebounds and the Anteaters were held to 5-of-16 from three-point range. The Waves are 16-7 ATS over their last 23 games after an ATS win and they are 4-1 UNDER versus Big West teams and Northridge is 5-1 against WCC schools. Play Pepperdine and the UNDER.
