Penn State at Virginia Tech

Penn State has had a favorable schedule, leading to a 7-2 start to the season thanks in large part to the play of Taylor Battle. But, they haven't yet won on the road. They are holding foes to just 60.4 points per game, but again the competition has been weak. Virginia Tech has played great defense too (62 ppg allowed). Their problem has been scoring (59.7 ppg at home). As a result, the Hokies are 6-1 UNDER this season and this total is set too low as a result. Virginia Tech has shown they can score, putting up 70+ three times this season and Penn State allowed 84 in their lone road game this year. In their last six road games, the Lions are 5-1 to the OVER. They are also 4-1 OVER in their last five as a dog. The Hokies are 10-4 OVER in their last 14 home games vs. teams with a bad road winning percentage. I think this one gets over this low total.
