The Boston College Eagles have enjoyed a lot of success on the hardwood for decades, but this is a team that is on their way to what could be their worst season in the last few decades, or more. Steve Donahue has lost all five starters from a year ago and assembled a huge recruiting class, but the quality simply is not here. The Eagles are justifiably picked last in the ACC. They have already lost by over 20 points each to in-state rivals Holy Cross and Umass. Penn State is off to a 5-2 start and has the best player on the floor in Tim Frazier at 19.1 ppg and six boards. The Nitany Lions have been tough off a loss at 15-5-1 ATS in their last 21, while the Eagles are not biting as a home dog at 3-7 ATS in their last ten as a home dog of 6.5 or less. Penn State gets the call in this one.
