Oregon vs. South Carolina

Oregon finished the regular season with a 66-65 win over Utah and then the Ducks sailed through the Pac-12 Tournament capped by a 75-68 victory over Colorado. N'Faly Dante led the Ducks with 25 points and they won despite hitting only two of 17 3-point tries. Oregon stepped it up defensively allowing only 64.5 points per game their last four games. South Carolina had a much better season than expected with a 26-7 record, but the Gamecocks had a couple of blowout losses to Auburn, including 86-55 to knock them out of the SEC Tournament and an earlier 40-point loss on Feb. 14. The Gamecocks scored only 26 points in the first half on Friday when Auburn held them to 28 percent shooting and three of 12 from 3-point range. South Carolina led the SEC defensively in points allowed per game with 67.0, but it has had lapses on offense such as the games against Auburn and a 66-59 loss to Tennessee on March 6 when the Gamecocks scored 24 first-half points and shot 38 percent for the game.
