Old Dominion at Fairfield

This was supposed to be the year that Fairfield did something special and rose out of the Metro Atlantic to be a factor in the NCAA Tournament. That still may happen, but the Stags’ level of play has certainly been far less than those expectations at 5-4. Their recent play is highly suspect with a loss to Indiana State on a neutral floor, and close calls vs. mediocre Metro Atlantic teams in Canisius and Niagara. Old Dominion beat the Big East's South Florida, and has played Kentucky to within 10. They have done so with very aggressive defense as no team has reached the 70-point mark against them through eight games. The Monarchs are now 9-2-1 ATS following a win, and have taken four straight as a dog, while the Stags have dropped five straight ATS vs. teams with a winning record. Play on old Dominion.
