Oklahoma State vs. Connecticut

The Maui Invitational at the Lahaina Civic Center in Maui, Hawaii, always attracts some very good teams. This year it is no different as three of the eight teams in the field are ranked in the top 10. One of those, North Carolina, waits for the winner of this one. Oklahoma State has run three teams out of the building, scoring over 100 points in each, but they will be hard pressed to find the going so easy against a UConn team that is always among the leaders in defensive FG percentage. Defense should be the key here, as none of the Huskies’ first three opponents have shot better than 39%. The Huskies have a history of playing well here, as they are 5-1 in their last two visits to The Aloha State. Oklahoma State has had three cupcakes to nibble on, and will see a different level of talent tonight, and may become frustrated as the easy offense they have enjoyed for three games vanishes. Take UConn to win this one straight-up.
