Oklahoma State at TCU

The TCU Horned Frogs have simply not been able to compete in the Big-12 Conference over the last few years. The Horned Frogs own a woeful 2-38 mark over the last three years in conference play. Things appeared to be on the improve for this club as they stunned many by going 13-0 to start the season, but the soft early slate left them behind, and they are the same old struggling team at 1-10 in conference play. They have had to try and shorten games, but face large deficits in the second half in most of their games, which adds to the scoring which otherwise has not been impressive at all. The Frogs strategy has left them scoring just 24.3 points per game in the first half over their last three. Oklahoma State has not been a very consistent offense, but the defense has made the difference as the Cowboys are allowing just 58 points per game over their last seven. This game figures to be played at a slow pace, at least in the first half, and the inept TCU offense will have trouble finding the bottom of the net. And with limited possessions, the Cowboys won't put up big nunbers either. The end game says that laying three, with a team at 2-38 in 40 conference games, is not condusive for good results, and the Cowboys are on a three game winning streak and playing better.
