The Oklahoma Sooners have opened at 1-0 despite shooting 50% for the game, and the opponent was at about as low a level as a team faces all season. The 91 points generated on offense may look lofty, but it shows that at this early stage of the season the Sooners have a lot of work to do on the offensive end. Texas-San Antonio suffered an embarrassing loss to St. Edwards, shooting only 44% in the process, and will be hard pressed to get out of the 50s here against a much better team.
