Ohio State will take on Syracuse at Madison Square Garden in a semifinal of the NIT Season Tip-Off tourney. Syracuse has a lot of talent on the court, and is shooting 54%, and connecting on 47% from beyond the arc. The Cuse has a blend of talent old and new and freshman Donte Greene is their leading scorer at 19-ppg, and 8-rpg. Eric Devendorf has stepped up from a year ago, to produce 16-ppg. Another highly-regarded frosh John Flynn, is putting up 13-ppg, and last year’s heralded FR Paul Harris is netting 12.7-ppg and 11.7-rpg. The Cuse can score from anywhere on the court, and Ohio State will have a tough time defending them. Ohio State has talent, but they return just one player from a year ago - Jamar Butler. There will be some growing pains for this team early, and we will ride the much more talented Syracuse squad to win this one.
