Everyone remembers the Bobcats’ shocker of Georgetown in the tournament two years ago, winning decisively by 14 as a +13.5 point underdog. The problem is that the MAC was down. Despite registering 27 wins, the only NCAA Tournament team they faced since Game 4 was NC Ashville, a 16 seed, so they have not seen a high-quality team pretty much the entire season. Michigan won 24 games to a far more competitive schedule. They played 14 games vs. tourney teams and went 7-7. They beat five really strong teams in Ohio State, Michigan St., Memphis, Wisconsin, and Indiana. I think Ohio, U. would have gone 0-5 against those teams, and the number here is simply on the light side. The Bobcats are 0-4 ATS in their last four vs. the Big-10 Conference. Michigan enters at 35-17-1 ATS in their last 53 vs. a team with a winning percentage of greater than .600. Play on Michigan.
