Ohio will get a chance to show they belong by taking on an opponent from a major conference in St. Johns. After beating Maryland on the road, they were totally outclassed vs. a potent Kansas team. The Bobcats have returned a trio of starters from a 19-win team a year ago that are producing 43 points 19 rebounds and nearly seven assists per game. Throw in Murray State transfer Justin Orr at 10+ per game, and the Bobcats have a solid nucleas. The Cats are shooting 47% against some good teams, and stand at 6-3. St. Johns has won four games against some very bad teams and in fact struggled at home vs. St. Francis and LIU Brooklyn. Their first road test was a disaster, dropping a 19 point decision to Miami. Anthony Mason Jr., expected to carry the load, has appeared in just one game, contributing 4 points. He will likely see some minutes tonight. This is a team with seven new faces, ultimately heading in the right direction. But for now this team is playing porrly, with more turnovers than assists. We like the Bobcats to win another vs. a big conference school.
