Oakland at Illinois Chicago

Illinois-Chicago may had their moment in the sun several years ago in the Big Dance, but this team is light years away from those teams as they are a woeful 5-18 on the season. The Flames have flamed out in their last seven games, all of which have resulted in losses, and it does appear that this team has packed it in at least mentally. Oakland took on a very aggressive schedule early in the season, taking automatic losses on the road vs. Iowa State, Michigan State, Arizona, Pittsburgh, Clemson, and Maryland. Those tough road games have certainly paid off for the Grizzlies as they have won six straight games. They are obviously better than their record, and better than their 2-9 road record after gutting it out in so many tough venues. Oakland has failed to cover just three times in their last 17 games, while the Flames have followed a spread win at 2-8 ATS in their next contest over their last 10. Play on Oakland.
