Notre Dame had won nine in a row before falling to St. John's on Saturday. In that losing effort, the sky-high Irish shooting fell back down to earth, leading to 58 points. The reality is that their great offensive performances during their run (76, 84, 71, 74, 71 points) were somewhat fluky and can't be expected to continue. The St. John's performance was proof of that. Now they face a Georgetown defense that allows just 52.4 points per game at home this season. While the Irish are 15-1 at home on the season, on the road this team is just 5-8, scoring only 59.2 points per game. On the season, they are 9-4 UNDER on the road. The Hoyas offense has struggled of late as well, averaging just over 63 per game in their last five. At home this season, Georgetown is 6-4 to the UNDER. When facing a winning team this season, the Irish are 13-2 UNDER. They are also 8-1 this season to a total posted under 130. Georgetown is 12-3 UNDER since last season at home when facing a winning team. I expect an intense low-scoring game here. Play the UNDER.
