The Panthers made a post-season appearance in the CIT, but that is below the standard that this school has set. They are going to have a hard time doing any better this season. The Panthers had four starters that posted double-digit scoring a year ago, but three of those players have moved on, and it is hard to see where the scoring is going to come from this season. The Bobcats posted 24 wins a year ago, good enough for an NIT bid, but have lost their top three scorers. The good news is they were a deep team a year ago, with 10 players seeing action in 30 games or more. So, the experience should prepare them for a bigger role this season. The Bobcats game has translated well outside the conference where they are 19-7 ATS in their last 26, including 4-0 ATS vs the Missouri Valley. Ohio is 22-7 ATS in their last 29 home games as a favorite of 3 points or less. Go with Ohio.
