Northern Iowa at George Mason

A pair of mid-majors who have both made some noise in the NCAA Tournament will square off as George Mason hosts Northern Iowa. The Panthers got off to a rocky start when they opened the season with a home loss as a slight favorite to Ohio by 11 points. It may be a sign of some likely early struggles for this team that must try to replace three of their top four scorers from last season, and define new roles. George Mason comes in clean at 2-0, but this will be their biggest test thus far in the young season. The Patriots are a patient team that is getting good shots and making them as six of their top seven scorers are all connecting at 50% or better.
