Northern Iowa at Evansville

The Evansville Purple Aces have shot the ball very well this season. In spite of that fact, their effort on the defensive end has been lacking, so despite shooting well they have a losing record on the season. That problem becomes bigger in conference play which has seen the Purple Aces give up 81 points to Indiana State and 94 to Drake, and have started 0-2 in the conference. Northern Iowa has taken on an aggressive schedule which has them at 7-7, but they are a better team than the .500 record would indicate. They held Wichita State, and Bradley to a combined 113 points in their first two conference tilts. The offense won't, and hasn't come as easy for Evansville in conference play, while the defense remains a liability. Play on Northern Iowa.
