Northeastern at Towson State

The Northeastern Huskies turned some heads early in the season when they knocked off UConn on the road. Then they went to Michigan St. and knocked off the Spartans. Both those wins aren't as big as they looked at the time, but still a pair of good wins. Losses to Harvard, Stonybrook, and Cornell however, show the up and down nature of this team. Play well vs the better teams, and not so much vs the others. Towson St. at 9-9 is not going to get a lot of their focus here. The Tigers are good at one thing, they defend very well and allow just 40.1% shooting against them. That should be enough to slow down the Huskies, and combined with the home court edge, where the Tigers have been pretty strong, I'll go with Towson St. in this one.
