North Carolina vs. Connecticut

This is tonight's marquee matchup and it's being played at Madison Square Garden. Both teams are 7-1 SU and 4-4 ATS. Connecticut suffered its first loss of the season 69-65 at Kansas after the defending national champion won its first seven games rather handily. The Huskies are 4-1 ATS and 4-1 OVER following a loss dating to last season. North Carolina has gone OVER four of five overall and the Tarheels are 7-1 OVER their past eight neutral site games. North Carolina's only loss was to Villanova in overtime on Nov. 23 and the Tarheels average 86.3 points compared to 85.8 for Connecticut. However, the Huskies have the advantage defensively, holding opponents to 61.6 points compared to 72.0 for the Tarheels, who had to rally from 14 points down in the second half to defeat Florida State 78-70 on Saturday.
