Nicholls State at Wyoming

Nicholls lost three starters that averaged a combined 31.5 points for its NIT team last season and the Colonels lost by 42 points against Arizona on Monday. They shot just 40 percent with Micah Thomas leading the way with 20 points. The Colonels will have a closer game tonight against Wyoming, which defeated small school Colorado Christian 102-69. The Cowboys return four starters from last year's 25-9 team that held opponents to 65.5 points per game although they weren't a great shooting team themselves with a .457 shooting percentage overall and .342 from 3-point distance, which was only #155 in the country. Wyoming won't score nearly as many as the Sun Devils did against Nicholls and the Cowboys went UNDER four of their last five games last season and they were 3-0-1 UNDER versus a team that gave up at least 100 points its previous game.
