New Mexico State got a new coach this season after Reggie Theus bolted for the NBA. He's had a rough go of it so far as his team is just 2-4 SU and 0-5 ATS. The only games won have been against Cal Davis as a 17 point favorite in which they won by 10 and a win over Lemoyne in a non-line game. In every other game, they have been completely non-competitive. UTEP is 4-1 and 2-0 ATS. NM State is allowing 79 ppg (86 on the road) and UTEP has shown they can score behind Stefon Jackson. Jackson has emerged as one of the top players in CUSA, averagging 23.3 ppg. NM State, even when they were winning, didn't fare well against very good teams. Dating back to last season, they are 0-9 ATS vs. teams at 60%+ SU. Miners here.
