Two teams in need of a win will square off in San Diego tonight as the Torreros, at 4-4, meet the Lobos, at 4-4. The records are even and the pointspread says these teams are about even, that usually means they will feel they can run on each other and there is the chance for the close game, foul plagued last two minutes where lots of free points are put on the board with the clock stopped. New Mexico features a balanced offense and gets scoring from all five spots and also a scorer off the bench, as the Lobos have six players averaging 9+ a game. Brabdon Johnson and Gyno Pomare have had to step up the offense in wake of some injuries for the Toreros, meaning better players taking more shots. San Diego has played over to a record of 16-7 vs teams with a losing road record while the Lobo's have have been a cash cow to the OVER as they have played 18-8-1 to the OVER in their last 27. Lots of signs for this one to topple a relatively low total and I'll go with the OVER here.
