New Mexico at New Mexico State

The unbeaten teams in NCAA basketball have been pared down to just eight. Surprisingly, two of them are in the Mountain West - one of them being New Mexico. This is a rare back-to-back home and home series, and New Mexico handled the Aggies rather easily 73-58 in round one at home. I would not anticipate a letdown here by the Lobos for two reasons. They are not only the better team, but their unbeaten record will prevent a letdown, as well as this being an in-state rivalry contest. The Lobos have also had control vs. teams from the WAC where they are 10-2-2 ATS in their last 14, and a remarkable 61-27-4 ATS following an ATS win. The Aggies have not been up to task vs. good teams as they sport a 1-8 ATS mark in their last nine vs. a team over .600. Take New Mexico in this one.
