New Mexico vs. Marquette

Marquette will face New Mexico in Cleveland, Ohio, and I'm sure the Marquette fans will be making the short trip for this game. The Golden Eagles closed at 23-10, and this team is solid on the defensive end of the floor. The one thing Marquette does extremely well is create extra possessions with their defense. The Golden Eagles are +5 per game in turnovers, which is five extra possessions, and they attempt seven more shots than their opponent. New Mexico comes into the game at 26-7. New Mexico has played well under the line down the stretch, as the Lobos have covered just two of their last nine games despite being favored in seven of them. Marquette has fared well in non-conference games, where they are 7-3 ATS on the season. I like Marquette in this one.
