Clemson plays a special brand of defense which has helped them to a nice 15-9 record. The problem for them is their offense, which is downright horrible. Since the start of ACC play, the Tigers are scoring just 55 points per game. That includes showings of 45 and 44 in back-to-back games earlier this month. Over the past three seasons, the Wolfpack have feasted on teams like Clemson as NC State has gone 14-5 ATS over that span on the road vs. great defenses (teams that allow under 65 points per game). And, Clemson is just 2-10 ATS since last season after failing to score 66 or more points four games in a row. And in the Brad Brownell era, the Tigers are 13-23 ATS as home chalk. Take NC State.
