North Dakota at Hawaii

Hawaii opened its season with an 82-70 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff with Gibson Johnson and Mike Thomas scoring a team-leading 19 points apiece and Jack Purchase adding 18 points. The Rainbow Warriors shot 49.0 percent while holding Pine Bluff to just 36.8 percent. The Warriors return four starters including Thomas, who missed last season with an injury. They also have some talented freshmen, including Samuta Avea and forward Justin Hemsley. North Dakota is playing its final season in the Big Sky and will join the Summit League next year. It comes off an 83-80 win over Troy while shooting nearly 50 percent. This game is part of the Rainbow Classic being played in Honolulu, and the Rainbow Warriors have a huge home court advantage.
