Murray State at Missouri State

The Murray State Racers lost a ton of points and rebounds from a great team last season. They got off to an expected slow start, but this team began to come together with each and every passing game. After a 5-7 start to the season, the Racers got things going and finished 13-4 over their last 17 games. Missouri State found their way to 20 wins, but the MVC was considerably down this season, especially with the departure of Creighton. Outside of Wichita State there were no teams even close to NCAA tournament consideration, which is unusual for the MVC. Despite the weakened conference, Missouri State finished just 8-9 in their last 17, and a soft early schedule got them to 20 wins. Murray State is looking more polished at this point, so play them to win straight-up.
