Middle Tenn State at Western Kentucky

Rick Stansbury has certainly elevated the level of recruiting at Western Kentucky. It is just a matter of time before this program takes off. His Hilltoppers returned just two starters but a class of freshman has filled some of the holes. His team is 15-10 on the season and has had growing pains along the way. His last three as a double-digit favorite show a 1-2 ATS mark and a straight-up loss. Middle Tennessee is rebuilding but getting better winning three of their last four including dog wins straight up as a +6 and +11 dog. Play on Middle Tennessee State plus the points. I also think MTSU has a chance to win this game outright. They are coming off a couple of good defensive efforts in which they allowed 53 points to Charlotte and 55 to Old Dominion. The Blue Raiders are also 10-2 straight-up the past two seasons after allowing 55 or fewer points. Right now this team is playing better defense than the Hilltoppers and that will give them a shot. Take a small flyer on the moneyline as well.
