Middle Tenn State at UTEP

UTEP is much improved this year in coach Rodney Terry's second season at the helm, but the Miners aren't ready to cover huge point spreads. They come off a 67-57 loss at North Texas on Saturday and they have lost five of their last nine games. Middle Tennessee perhaps played its finest game of the season while defeating Southern Miss 65-63 even while shooting only 35 percent, but holding the Golden Eagles to 2-of-10 on three-pointers. C.J. Jones scored 17 points and Donovan Sims added 13 for the Blue Raiders. If MTSU can shoot even a little better tonight it would keep it close enough to cover this big number and the Blue Raiders are 4-1 ATS after an ATS loss. UTEP is 2-10 ATS its last 12 following a win. Take Middle Tennessee.
