Mount St. Mary's vs. Iona

The Metro Atlantic Conference Championship game is tonight. Mt. St. Mary's comes in with a record of 21-12 and will face the Iona Gaels, who stand at 17-16 on the season. Mt. St. Mary's lost to Iona 70-67 at home earlier in the season. The Mountaineers have turned up their defensive intensity, as their last three opponents could not top the 58-point mark against them. The Mountaineers have held six of their last eight opponents to less than 40% shooting, including the previous three. Iona wasn't supposed to be here, but the Gaels have won their first two to reach the final.
